installing lynx
Not true. I do not mind newbie questions, just don't like spam orcompletely unrelated questions. The file under Redhat 7.2 you are looking for is lynx-2.8.4-17.i386.rpm.It's on a second disk. Assuming you mounted cdrom under /mnt/cdrom youneed to do the followingrpm -ivh /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS/lynx-2.8.4-17.i386.rpmto install the application. If it's an upgrade then you follow theinstruction mentioned previously. Also, there is a program called rpmfindwhich helps you find rpms over the net. You may want to install that onetoo, rpmfind-1.7-2.i386.rpm.If there are problems with dependencies then you need to install whateverelse is needed. For new Linux users I strongly recommend to installeverything to prevent from problems with chasing files and theirdependencies. That's much easier in Debian but that one has other problemswhich make it just as bad as Redhat or any other distribution. Too muchautomation can hurt you too.
Does your PC obtain an IP address via DHCP, or is it static? (Im talking about your PC, NOT your router/internet connection). If it is via DHCP, then your router should be able to provide the IP addresses of your DNS servers to the client machine (your PC), you will need to ensure that you have specified your ISP's DNS in your router's configuration. If you have a really shit router, or your PC has a static IP address, you will need to edit /etc/resolv.conf yourself, and add your ISP's nameservers like so:
Code:nameserver 194.168.4.100
nameserver 194.168.8.100
Code:nameserver 194.168.4.100
nameserver 194.168.8.100
AFTER ALL (Al Jarreau)
There, there was a time I knew That no matter, come what may, love would prevail And then inside the dreams I knew Came the question lovers fear Can true love fail Then I would miss the childhood wish And haven't I sung to you Of the knight in armor bright Faithful and true to you
Darling, after all I will be the one to hold you in my arms After all I will be the one to hold you I will be the one to hold you in my arms In my arms
I know in my heart and mind That no matter, come what may, love will survive And love, the author of space and time Keeps the galaxies and each sparrow alive And the love that heals the wound After the war is through Is the knight in armor bright Faithful and true to you

rainy days and you
karimata feat. phil perry
each time I see those thick dark clouds
I used to smile and make a wish
that it would turn.. turn to rain
because I know that I would watch
for you to play under the rain
but now when rainy days are here
I feel so blue ’cause I can’t hear
all your laughter in the falling rain
and it brings sadness to my heart
knowing that you’ve gone from my side.. my side
since that rainy days and you make a symphony
the rain without you makes the blues
happy days and you will always be right here to stay
where the rainy day brings me back
brings me back into your arms…
